We are a small 15 room lodge located on the banks of the mighty Rufiji River. We have been open since October 2008 and our aim is to provide the best service for a bush lodge in the Selous.

The Selous game reserve is the largest in the Africa and provides a unique experience for all those who visit. Selous, which is in the south eastern Tanzania, covers 55,000 square miles, an area larger than Switzerland or twice the size of Massachusets.

Jimbiza Lodge is in the buffer zone of Selous game reserve right on the banks of the Rufiji river, 4 kilometers from Mtemere gate.
